Interview with Early Church Fathers

As so many seem to have deviated away from the Teachings of the Catholic Church, let us then examine the difference between the Faith of today and the Faith that our Martyrs died for many centuries ago.

**************************

The Words of Polycarp to the Philippians;

"Wherefore, girding up your loins," serve the Lord in fear and truth, as those who have forsaken the vain, empty talk and error of the multitude, and "believed in Him who raised up our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead, and gave Him glory, and a throne at His right hand. To Him all things in heaven and on earth are subject. Him every spirit serves. He comes as the Judge of the living and the dead. His blood will God require of those who do not believe in Him...if we do His will, and walk in His commandments, and love what He loved, keeping ourselves from all unrighteousness, covetousness, love of money, evil speaking, false witness; "not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing," or blow for blow, or cursing for cursing, but being mindful of what the Lord said in His teaching: "Judge not, that ye be not judged; forgive, and it shall be forgiven unto you...once more, "Blessed are the poor, and those that are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of God."

A 'politically' correct Polycarp the revisionist version

'Wherefore, girding up your loins, keep always the thought of what others may think of you to the forefront. Do not offend those who hold different views from yourself, it could be the case that your God may not be everyone's god so just choose a god that appeases all. Do not talk about such things as the one who Judges all, it may cause offense and may be seen as a hate crime so keep the truth quiet in order to get along with the world.'

*************************

The Words of Polycarp of Smyrna

"For whosoever does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh, is antichrist;" and whosoever does not confess the testimony of the cross, is of the devil; and whosoever perverts the oracles of the Lord to his own lusts, and says that there is neither a resurrection nor a judgment, he is the first-born of Satan. Wherefore, forsaking the vanity of many, and their false doctrines, let us return to the word which has been handed down to us from the beginning; "watching unto prayer," and persevering in fasting; beseeching in our supplications the all-seeing God "not to lead us into temptation," as the Lord has said: "The spirit truly is willing, but the flesh is weak."

A 'politically' correct Polycarp the revisionist version

'For whosoever does not confess Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is an enlightened human being; and whosoever does not confess the testimony of the cross is sensitive to those who wish to embrace other spiritualities and validate those who worship such things as crystals, fire, water and air much like the Wiccans and pagans. Whosoever perverts the oracles of the Lord should be allowed to explore their own version of what they believe and explore their own sexuality without fear of committing offense. Let us therefore embrace inner freedom and respect those who wish to fornicate, lust after their neighbors goods or who prefer to live alternative lifestyles. Let us not remind others of sins, lest you incur their wrath.'

*************************

The Words of Polycarp of Smyrna

"I exhort you all, therefore, to yield obedience to the word of righteousness, and to exercise all patience, such as ye have seen [set] before your eyes, not only in the case of the blessed Ignatius, and Zosimus, and Rufus, but also in others among yourselves, and in Paul himself, and the rest of the apostles. [This do] in the assurance that all these have not run in vain, but in faith and righteousness, and that they are [now] in their due place in the presence of the Lord, with whom also they suffered. For they loved not this present world, but Him who died for us, and for our sakes was raised again by God from the dead."

A 'politically' correct Polycarp the revisionist version

' I exhort you all, therefore. to yield obedience to anything you hear so long as it appeases the crowd and those who have chosen to live outside of the Word of God, lest a minority find us to be intolerant. Do not take much note of men such as Ignatius or Paul, they lived long ago what relevance do they have in this year 2006? Do not concern yourselves with righteousness it may cost you your popularity therefore go along with the crowds who wish to believe in Buddha, Wicca, Crystals, séances etc. Live for the present world, embrace all worldly philosophies and spiritualities, why should you put your life on the line just for mere 'words'? These men are long dead forget about them and live for today.'

*************************

The Words of Polycarp of Smyrna

"For I trust that ye are well versed in the Sacred Scriptures, and that nothing is hid from you; but to me this privilege is not yet granted. It is declared then in these Scriptures, "Be ye angry, and sin not," and, "Let not the sun go down upon your wrath." Happy is he who remembers this, which I believe to be the case with you. But may the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, and Jesus Christ Himself, who is the Son of God, and our everlasting High Priest, build you up in faith and truth, and in all meekness, gentleness, patience, long-suffering, forbearance, and purity; and may He bestow on you a lot and portion among His saints, and on us with you, and on all that are under heaven, who shall believe in our Lord Jesus Christ, and in His Father, who "raised Him from the dead." Pray for all the saints. Pray also for kings, and potentates, and princes, and for those that persecute and hate you, and for the enemies of the cross, that your fruit may be manifest to all, and that ye may be perfect in Him."

A 'politically' correct Polycarp the revisionist version

'For I trust that ye are not to well versed in the Sacred Scriptures for if one were to understand the Word of God then your excuse of ignorance is gone, therefore do not read the Scriptures lest it indicts you! Do not pray too much, many find the word God offensive and prayer is out of place in this 'peaceful' world. Remember there is no 'God' as you know it but there are many gods, let us call 'god' the 'universal spirit' or the 'feminine goddess' so that all may feel included and may pride reign forever.'
************************

The proconsul said to Saint Polycarp such things as "Have respect to thy old age" and "swear by the fortune of Caesar; repent, and say, Away with the Atheists."
When Polycarp entered the stadium a voice from Heaven rang out, 'Be strong, and show thyself a man, O Polycarp'!"
The Proconsul said"...say, Away with the Atheists", Saint Polycarp "gazing with a stern countenance on all the multitude of the wicked heathen then in the stadium, and waving his hand towards them, while with groans he looked up to heaven, said, 'Away with the Atheists'."

A 'politically' correct Polycarp the revisionist version

'Gazing with a stern countenance on all the multitude of the wicked heathen Polycarp then changed his expression to one of benevolence and acceptance as he looked upon the crowds in the stadium and waving his hand towards them, while with groans he looked up to heaven, and said, 'Let me join you in the stadium, after all your idea of 'god' is fine so long as you feel validated, it is only right you should worship whom you believe in whether that be God or your 'god' of choice. We must learn religious toleration, any 'god' or 'gods' should be acceptable for who am I to tell you different? That would make me intolerant if I do not accept your choice of 'gods'. What is 'truth' for your 'truth' may not be my truth so let us all embrace and live our own 'truths' lest we be considered pious or holy.'

**************************

Justin Martyr was born approximately 100 AD, let us examine his words and then the politically correct Justin.

These are the words of St. Justin

"When I was a disciple of Plato, hearing the accusations made against the Christians and seeing them intrepid in the face of death and of all that men fear, I said to myself that it was impossible that they should be living in evil and in the love of pleasure"

A politically Correct Justin Martyr

'When I was a disciple of Plato, hearing the accusations made against the Christians and seeing them intrepid in the face of death, I thought what 'god' are they willing to die for? Should we not be embracing all 'gods' in order to appease and be seen as tolerant toward those who share other views? Should we not applaud nay even follow after those who follow the 'gods' of power, wealth, beauty and where sin no longer exists? Do they not have a better 'god' where all conduct is acceptable as a lifestyle choice?' Surely this is more acceptable than dying for what you actually believe? I ponder these things.'

*************************

The words of Justin Martyr

"To obey the commandments of our Saviour Jesus Christ is worthy neither of blame nor of condemnation. I have endeavoured to learn all doctrines; but I have acquiesced at last in the true doctrines, those namely of the Christians, even though they do not please those who hold false opinions..."That according to which we worship the God of the Christians, whom we reckon to be one from the beginning, the maker and fashioner of the whole creation, visible and invisible; and the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who had also been preached beforehand by the prophets as about to be present with the race of men, the herald of salvation and teacher of good disciples. And I, being a man, think that what I can say is insignificant in comparison with His boundless divinity, acknowledging a certain prophetic power, since it was prophesied concerning Him of whom now I say that He is the Son of God. For I know that of old the prophets foretold His appearance among men."

A politically Correct Justin Martyr

'To obey the commandments of our Saviour Jesus Christ is not a good idea, it is far to constraining and many prefer to live in an age of freedom, surely we must show ourselves to be broadminded and accepting of what others choose to believe. As for Jesus divinity that is now in dispute who am I to go against the masses, surely I should be accepting of all 'truths' no matter what that 'truth' is? Him of whom now I say that He is the Son of God. For I know that of old the prophets foretold his appearance, but then again this is a new age, and the prophets wrote these words so long ago. Should we really take note of old men with old ideas?'

************************

The words of Justin Martyr

"Yes, I am a Christian...I hope that, if I endure these things, I shall have His gifts. For I know that, to all who have thus lived, there abides the divine favour until the completion of the whole world. No right-thinking person falls away from piety to impiety. Through prayer we can be saved on account of our Lord Jesus Christ, even when we have been punished, because this shall become to us salvation and confidence at the more fearful and universal judgment-seat of our Lord and Saviour."

A politically Correct Justin Martyr

'Yes, I am a Christian...though I am also accepting of other idea's and philosophies, why should I demand that others believe as I do? What matters is that I am saved I care not for speaking the Truth lest others may feel offended. No right-thinking person should actually live their Faith or they may be called 'holier than thou' or worse they may lose their popularity. As for universal judgement-seat of our Lord and Saviour, who and what is your 'god' of the day, surely we have become to sophisticated for this outmoded thinking of 'judging'.'

*************************

"For this is why the Word became man, and the Son of God became the Son of man: so that man, by entering into communion with the Word and thus receiving divine sonship, might become a son of God."

The Politically Correct Saint Irenaeus

'For this is why the Word became man, so that we could internalise what Jesus was really saying by reading and watching heretical works pertaining to who Jesus really is. Why should we be chained by the Truth, especially in these days where every 'truth' is acceptable."

***********************

The Words of St Irenaeus

"God is the source of all activity throughout creation. He cannot be seen or described in his own nature and in all his greatness by any of his creatures. Yet he is certainly not unknown. Through his Word the whole creation learns that there is one God the Father, who holds all things together and gives them their being. As it is written in the Gospel, "No man has ever seen God, except the only-begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father; he has revealed him."

The Politically Correct Saint Irenaeus

'God is the source of all activity throughout creation. We must accept that we are descended from apes for this is what science teaches us, has not science become a new 'god'? Through his Word the whole creation learns that there is one God the Father. Surely as intelligent human beings we understand the Bible was written by men who are fallible, do we trust this 'man written bible' or should we rely on our own reasoning abilities? God is what you want him to be, lest anyone feel excluded, therefore as proud 'catholics' surely we should be open minded to realise that there is no truth outside of your own perceived 'truths', therefore all 'truths' are true, are they not?'

**************************

When we review the words and the lives of these great Martyrs and then study the politically correct language of today, we must ask ourselves.... Where do we stand when it comes to speaking the Truths of the Church? Or did our Martyrs die for nothing?

An Open Letter from Jesus to the Faithful

Spiritual Warfare

I write this letter to enlighten my little ones through the Holy Spirit who with groans speaks what your own soul cannot portray in words.

I ask one thing of my little one's, and that is to love God above all other things. This includes putting aside that which distracts you from this calling.

There is also one thing you need to understand, and that is through Me I have won the Victory against that treacherous serpent known as Lucifer, therefore the victory is also yours.

Though the devil tempts you to do evil, I have equipped you all with the ultimate weapon against the foe of my children, and that is prayer.

My Father in Heaven longs to hear from His beloved children, but, sadly little one's, often times His Holy Name has become a profanity! This offends the Creator of all things. Stop it!

In order to know Me you must read the Scriptures and meditate on it's meaning as pertains to your life through the guidance of the Catholic Church.

The devil likes nothing better than to confuse and accuse my little one's pay no heed to his malicious nonsense. Remember I comfort those who are sorrowful, and those who have led upright lives. It is always the devil who accuses my little one's unjustly. It is The Holy Spirit who comforts.

I know that though you long to do good often times you fall short so it is vital that you make a full and sincere confession through the Sacraments of My Church. Do not fall into despair am I not Merciful to my little ones?

It is your responsibility my little ones to stand against the great sins of this world one of which is the slaughter of the innocents. This tears My Heart asunder and arouses My Fathers Justice, speak up now against this most grievous of sins!

Remember to not judge one another, or count yourself more than who you are, for are you not all sinners who fall short of My Glory. So who among you can say he is the greatest?

Your bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit, honour and respect your bodies and do the work of God for which you have been commissioned since the beginning.

Always be modest in your dress and in your words, remember My Father is listening and He see's all.

If you wish to follow Me remember I did not accommodate the worldly I accused them. I was Crucified for Your sake and for speaking the Truth will you live with a lie?

I had no place to lay my head, why do you seek the comforts of the world when I have given you everything.

Be careful of what comes out of your mouth for from the heart either holiness or corruption is revealed. You will be held accountable for every word you speak. Therefore speak wisely.

Think humbly of yourself for whatever you have achieved was given as Gift from Me.

Do not bicker among yourselves or envy each other do I make mistakes? Why then do you covet your neighbors goods?

Remember love comes at a cost, I paid it in full, why then do you short change me by ignoring My Commandments?

Lastly remember love one another as I have loved you. For when I see you face to face, my question will be, did you love till it cost, because I did!

with Love,

Jesus (PS: Keep in touch I miss you.)

Peace of Christ to ALL

Deception In The Media...Again

It would seem that “The DaVinci Code” has spawned it's own little sub-industry. Everywhere one looks, there are books, magazine articles, newspaper articles, television specials, and videos ad nauseum that purport to "prove" “The DaVinci Code” as true, or set out to disprove “The DaVinci Code” as fact. Yes, an entire genre has sprung up, based on a work of fiction that people are stupid enough....yes, stupid enough... to accept as fact. If you read “The DaVinci Code”, and entertain any of it's ideas as fact, or as even remotely possible as fact... then count yourself among the stupid people. You fit in. You've been used. You've been fooled. You have willingly allowed yourself to be led into the realm of “Stupid and Proud Of It”.

It's not just “The DaVinci Code” that is a result of all these misguided efforts either. There are still the stupid people (you know who you are, and so do we) who, as a result of this work of fiction, are pushing another group of fictional works as "fact", and those are the Gnostic Gospels. You've read them, too, right? I thought so. You'd be the type. You'd read them, just because you have the emotional responsibility of a 13 year old, and read the Gnostic Gospels because the Church has said you shouldn't. Who DOES the Church think it is? Why does the Church think it has the right to tell me what I can or can't read? The Church is telling you, because obviously someone needs to tell you since you can't seem to grasp the idea that reading FALSE gospels endangers your faith. Then again, why would someone as stupid as you understand that? You are too busy being a rebel without a clue. Have you noticed too, that the same people who have read the Gnostic Gospels, make the same mistake of calling the Gnostics "Christian", when in fact they were not? Have you also noticed that these same intellectually challenged people are the same ones who won't read or have never read the Gospels of Saints Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John? Yep. Definitely rebels without a clue.

All of these books, "The DaVinci Code", The Gnostic Gospels are false works that all Christians should be wary of, and be aware of what they really are. What they really are, are works of evil bent on the destruction of the Church. We are given a warning in the Gospel of Saint Matthew 24: 23 Then if any man shall say to you: Lo here is Christ, or there, do not believe him. 24 For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect. 25 Behold I have told it to you, beforehand. This is exactly what all these false books are doing. They are all saying to those who read them, THIS is Jesus Christ. Each is claiming to give you the REAL Christ. The REAL Christ is the Christ of the Bible, and not the false Christ in "The DaVinci Code" or in the Gospels of Judas, Mary Magdalene, or Thomas. People think that the warnings in Matthew 24, and again in Mark 13: "21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; lo, he is here: do not believe. 22 For there will rise up false Christs and false prophets, and they shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce (if it were possible) even the elect. 23 Take you heed therefore; behold I have foretold you all things", are referring only to the physical aspects of claiming the presence of Christ. Be aware that these books, and others that will surely follow, are all saying to the readers, "lo, here is Christ, lo he is here". Then you will know, not to believe. Unless you are one of the stupid ones.

For they are saying to you, that the Christ of the Holy Bible, the Christ taught to us by the Apostles and the Traditions of the Church, is the false Christ, and that what they show you, is the true Christ. So, who are you going to believe? Men like Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John who were willing to die for what they wrote? Or someone like Dan Brown, and the pushers of the Gnostic Gospels, who are willing to get paid for what they wrote? Just remember. Judas got paid for what he did, too!

Spiritism And the Occult

Spiritual Warfare

There is a misunderstanding abounding in many Catholic/Christian communities lately on what people think is 'spirituality' but is in effect spiritism as many flock to see those 'soothsayers' who can speak with the dead. They either become glued to their TV sets to watch little more than occultism or some misguided and grieving relatives seek relief by trying to contact their dead relatives.

Spiritism has now become a major market as more and more shows promote this means of communication and people pay money to these fraudulent practitioners of the occult. This conveys a fundamental lack of trust in God within the Christian, for when our loved ones pass from this world they then receive their Just reward from God and pass on to eternal Glory either by purification in purgatory or into the Kingdom of Heaven.

There are only a few occurrences when due to God's Love and compassion for His people He has allowed the Saints to warn and protect particular souls. It is a well known fact that the young Joan d'Arc had Heavenly visitations from St. Catherine of Alexandria, St. Margaret and St. Michael the Archangel, these Heavenly visits were in preparation for the commission that God had set forth for this young girl of France. It is also recorded when a young man named Alessandro Serenelli murdered Maria Goretti this young martyr appeared to her murderer. This event changed the hard hearted Alessandro who embraced the Faith and deeply regretted murdering this great Saint and martyr of the Church. The difference with these miraculous events were indeed just that, miracles where no 'channeler' or 'soothsayer' was necessary. When God wishes to deliver a message He has no need of 'soothsayers'! As the Word warns those who do procure this sort of paranormal activity, "Go not aside after wizards, neither ask any thing of soothsayers, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God....Neither let there be found among you any one that shall expiate his son or daughter, making them to pass through the fire: or that consulteth soothsayers, or observeth dreams and omens, neither let there be any wizard..."

To seek out these soothsayers, fortune tellers and other occult practices is to place your own soul in danger and to invite the demonic agents of Satan into your own soul and home. There can be no greater joy to Satan than to know that God's own children doubt His Goodness and His Word, "Amen I say to you, there hath not risen among them that are born of women a greater than John the Baptist: yet he that is the lesser in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he...Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, he is the greater in the kingdom of heaven."

Losing a loved one is heartbreaking indeed, but why do we need to disturb those who have gone to a better place? It is better to offer a Mass for the repose of the soul who has died, and to pray for them rather than leave yourselves open to demonic attack by partaking in occult practices.

We must also be wary of those who say they are the recipient of Divine visits, or that God is speaking through them, either by voice or by controlling their handwriting. It is prudent to wait upon the judgment of the Catholic Church in regards to miraculous visions and Divine messages. As St. John of the Cross warns us in his writings, "the devil causes many to believe in vain visions and false prophecies; and strives to make them presume that God and the saints are speaking with them; and they often trust their own fancy. And the devil is also accustomed, in this state, to fill them with presumption and pride, so that they become attracted by vanity and arrogance, and allow themselves to be seen engaging in outward acts which appear holy, such as raptures and other manifestations." It is a known fact that the devil can disguise himself as a 'being of light' but what is hidden is his blackened heart. It is vanity to seek God in visions it would be better to seek God through the Sacraments and the practice of virtue through God's Grace.

There are only two forces in this world one is the Source of Goodness which is the Triune Spirit the other force is of the satanic realm and his hordes of demons. There is no 'go-between' for the living and the dead to communicate with each other, so when one seeks out these para-normal experiences they are dealing with the demonic who masquerade as their loved ones. We must keep in mind in order to win a soul over, Satan will tell one truth to fool the trusting soul as he and his demons tell a thousand lies.

When people not only believe in this form of spiritism and then promote it as legitimate, they must seek the counsel and guidance of their Priest or Spiritual Director. No matter how slick or 'sincere' these soothsayers are they do not hold any legitimacy in Church Doctrine and for Christians to embrace this form of communication is to doubt God's Promise of Eternal life with Him.

God's Salvation of His beloved children was paid in full by the Salvific death and Resurrection of our Lord and Savior...God's Promises come free of charge, can we say the same of the soothsayers?

Peace of Christ to ALL

Feel Good Catholicism-Rise of the New Age

Many Catholics will no longer accept the Teachings of the Catholic Church as they shop for the right mixture of 'spiritualities' to suit their individual needs. The Truth's of the Catholic Church no longer hold sway over these 'spirituality shoppers', as they seek to mix different kinds of mysticism to suit themselves.

This is not what Jesus told the disciples when He said to them,"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but underneath are ravenous wolves. By their fruits you will know them... "Everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock. The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and buffeted the house. But it did not collapse; it had been set solidly on rock. And everyone who listens to these words of mine but does not act on them will be like a fool who built his house on sand." When we long for different doctrines we have fallen out of love with God and in love with the satanic illusion of making our lives better or more meaningful by embracing a lie over the Truth.

At the heart of this need for a spiritual elixir are two motives one is to maintain control over one's life even to negating Gods Power. The other is to find a spiritual formula that justifies sin as normal. In this century sin has become a dirty word, it is also becoming obsolete to those who think themselves more 'enlightened' than God and His Church!

One form of 'designer spiritualism' is the use of the enneagram, which is designed to tell your entire personality traits as if we were a mathematical equation rather than a beloved child of God. Many Catholics are embracing this form of false spirituality, even Priests are encouraging what is little more than dabbling in the occult. It's origins lay with the Islamic Sufi cult and was also used by some Eastern religions which embrace numerology. The question we need to ask is why are so many drawn to what are occult practices? Is the Truth of the Church no longer palatable to these spirituality shoppers? More dangerously, why are some Priests helping to promote this dangerous activity within their own parishes and also on Catholic based websites?

This constant need for anything 'new' or 'exciting' not only indicates spiritual immaturity it indicates a falling away of the faithful and denial of the Truths of the Church that they profess to believe during the Liturgy. How can one profess the Apostles Creed when they have placed their faith in what the numbers of the enneagram reveal? Does God speak through an enneagram? It is also shows spiritual laziness, where many people prefer to treat our Catholic faith as if it were a recipe which needs new ingredients to liven it up! Have any of these 'new agers' studied the works of Saints John of the Cross, Teresa of Avila, Francis of Assisi, Augustine and Thomas Aquinas or master writers as G.K. Chesterton, C.S. Lewis, Bishop Fulton Sheen and many more? Perhaps these master writers of the spiritual life would challenge them too much when they would prefer to remain enchanted by numerals, the elements and the feminist agenda!

Another word that the modernists like to use is 'inclusiveness' to their way of thinking this means accepting any and ALL spiritualities as valid, even such 'spiritualities' as Wicca, the enneagram, crystal power, centering prayer, yoga practices and female empowerment. What is troubling is when Priests and Bishops allow these new age philosophies to infiltrate the Mass, where the created is worshipped rather than the Creator. Some Masses have even had 'thank you services' for 'spirit earth, spirit water and spirit fire'... this is outright paganism... yet a minority of Priests and Religious have services where this form of Mass is encouraged. There are many Religious who refuse to call God Our Father and substitute this with an 'our mother' or they refer to God as the 'feminine spirit or goddess'. Some also refuse to read from the Lectionary during Mass and instead read from an inclusive Bible, here is what Canon Law states, Can. 279 ß1 Clerics are to continue their sacred studies even after ordination to the priesthood. They are to hold to that solid doctrine based on sacred Scripture which has been handed down by our forebears and which is generally received in the Church, as set out especially in the documents of the Councils and of the Roman Pontiffs. They are to avoid profane novelties and pseudo‚science." It does not get clearer than this, any Priest or Religious who attempt to bring in their own 'fanciful' idea's to make the Mass more 'relevant' or more 'entertaining' have missed the entire point of what the Mass is. The Mass is the one eternal Sacrifice of the Son for the sin of all, and it is during Mass that we receive the Body and Blood of our Lord through the Eucharist and the Graces that abound through God's Goodness, to each of His children.

When we try to dilute the Mass in preference for more inclusive formula's which may bring comfort to non Catholics then what faith are we professing? For it certainly is NOT the Catholic Faith or its Traditions! As the old saying goes 'those who don't stand for something, fall for anything', are many 'Catholics' in that same mold? We are not here to make sure that those who prefer to embrace Wicca feel included or those who belong to the Buddhist faith feel validated or those who practice such arts as the enneagram and other pagan practices, feel vindicated. Once again as has been stated before, the Catholic Church is not a democracy, and for those who feel disenfranchised, maybe it would be preferable if they left the Catholic Church if they find it's 2,000 year old Teachings no longer acceptable.

When Wiccan elements are introduced into Mass, this then corrupts the Body of the Church as the spirit of paganism is worshipped over and above God. We are not here to worship earth, wind and fire, rather we are here to worship the Creator of all things and to give thanks and praise to the Triune Spirit through the Sacraments of the Church. Let us make this clear... Wicca is little more than a fancy name for old fashioned witchcraft and sorcery. Those who practice Wicca cast spells on those they do not like and cast good spells on those they do like, once again the element of human control enters the arena. There is no such thing as a 'white witch' or a 'good witch'... witchcraft is just that... witchcraft... which is in league with the devil, the father of lies!

There is also the thorny issue of the feminist agenda, those Religious who feel disaffected with the Church because they are unable to become Priests. These Nuns are also aided and abetted by Priests who feel some type of shame and embarrassment that the Catholic Church is still archaic and patriarchal and refuses to ordain women into the Priesthood. For those who do feel ashamed of the Church's position should be mindful of this warning from our Lord, as it states in Mark, "Whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this faithless and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of when he comes in his Father's glory with the holy angels." If the feminist Religious are so grievously offended by not being able to join the Priesthood then whom do they wish to serve, God or their own ego's? Another point that needs to be made clear is when many feminist Nuns proclaim St. Mary Magdalene a 'feminist disciple' of the Lord, who did God the Father choose as His Rock upon whom the Church would be built? When Judas betrayed Christ and hung himself did Peter and the other disciples choose Mary Magdalene to replace him or did they choose Matthias? It is also a grave insult to Mary Magdalene who served her Lord in humble obedience and meekness of heart, and sought no power or acclaim for herself!

Rather than attempt to bring scandal to the Church, it would behoove those who feel greatly offended by our Catholic Traditions and the Teachings of the Magisterium, to leave the one Holy and Apostolic Church, and go to a church that will feed their insatiable ego's! It is this that lies at the heart of the matter, pure and simple pride in all its egocentric malevolency. If particular Nuns cannot recite the Lords Prayer as Jesus taught us, and instead prefer to recite 'our mother who art in Heaven..' truly do need to look within the depths of their souls and understand the spirit of pride that is driving them to heresy!

What drives the feminist movement within the Church, is a hatred of men which includes God the Father and Jesus the Son while they very obligingly embrace the 'feminist goddess' whom the feminists have portrayed as the Holy Spirit. Once again we enter the realm of heresy. When one embarks on hating a particular gender you then must include The Triune Spirit, for though God created man and woman with infinite love and tenderness, it is the feminist movement who has hijacked God's work of creation for their own nefarious purpose. The purpose for each of us and our existence is to love and serve God it is not to be self serving or self promoting. The true example for every woman to follow is that of our Blessed Mother. Never was a creature more perfect than the beauty of our Blessed Mother who most perfectly did the Will of the Father with no need for self promotion. Mary is the epitome of womanly virtues and if we truly seek to love God there is no more perfect example than to follow Mary as she points to her Son. It is through Mary that God truly dignifies the role of women within the Church and within Creation. She is our most perfect example of humility, meekness, obedience, charity and steadfastness. We should be longing to follow her example and not seek out self glorification.

For those who seek these new and fanciful idea's let them go and seek it outside of the Church rather than remain heretics within the fold!

Sins That Cry Out To Heaven

As a people, we tend to concentrate on God's Mercy and ignore His Divine Justice. Yet it is true that God's Justice must be appeased. That aspect is as true and relevant as God's Mercy, yet why do so few mention God's Justice?

Many live their lives as if their will be no accounting for the sins they have committed, if anything some may even think themselves sinless simply because they 'say' they believe in God. Others take God's Mercy so much for granted that they believe that they can sin with impunity. That they will not have to give an account for their wrongdoing because they 'used' and abused the Sacrament of Penance in the erroneous belief that by 'saying' they are sorry without sincerity will suffice for God. Those who continue to commit the same sins day in and day out while still partaking of the Eucharist with no thought of Gods Justice, only fool themselves, for it is the intent of the heart that matters to God and not the insincere contrition.

At times we will cover sin by using the expression, 'wrong choices'. Once again, some can use this language to fool themselves, but they do not fool God no matter how clinically they wish to describe what is an offense against God. Sin in other words, is just that... SIN!

We read in Genesis "And the Lord said, "What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying to me from the ground." We see that for every action we do there is a consequence. When Cain killed his brother his concern was not what God would think, but his entire thoughts were consumed with his own safety. Cain was not sorrowful for killing his brother, but he was regretful of getting caught, as if God would not notice or look within the depths of his heart. God could see the envy building in the heart of Cain and cautioned him to choose the better path, "the LORD said to Cain: "Why are you so resentful and crestfallen? If you do well, you can hold up your head; but if not, sin is a demon lurking at the door: his urge is toward you, yet you can be his master."

When we read that the blood of Abel cried out to God for His Divine Justice, it is not hard to imagine the screams that wrench at God's Heart over the lawful and wanton murder of the innocents, through abortion. Yet as billions of babies are aborted every year in various countries, do we truly think that God will be merciful for what cries out to His Justice. The cries of the voiceless as they are ripped from their mothers wombs, shake the Heavenly Realm, do we think we can murder our unborn with no consequences because God is merciful?

Let us understand God's Mercy. He is merciful to those who in true sorrow, remorse and repentance SEEK His forgiveness, thus gaining for themselves God's Merciful Love. In order to attain and receive mercy, we must show true sorrow with a contrite heart and with repentance seek out God's Mercy in the Sacrament of Penance. God cannot be merciful to those who do not repent of their evil, yet many believe that God will be merciful because He is all Merciful. This train of thought is tantamount to presumption! Once again let me reiterate, God is merciful to those who seek it. We see the many instances where Jesus forgave the sinners who sought His Mercy and were sorrowful for their transgressions, "So he was left alone with the woman before him. Then Jesus straightened up and said to her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?" She replied, "No one, sir." Then Jesus said, "Neither do I condemn you. Go, (and) from now on do not sin any more." We also read in Mathew, "And there people brought to him a paralytic lying on a stretcher. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Courage, child, your sins are forgiven." Where did Jesus show mercy to the hypocritical Pharisee's?

Yet as the abortion industry grows so does Gods wrath and deservedly so! Do we think there will be NO accounting for this sin that cries out to Heaven for God's Divine Justice, the genocide of the innocents?

Another sin that cries out for God's Justice is that of sodomy, though society may wrap the word up in more appealing language, active homosexuals who do not repent of their sin will incur God's Divine Justice and also those who support and encourage this sinful lifestyle. As governments around the world legitimize same sex marriages, they will also incur the full brunt of Gods Justice, for these governments ignore Gods Moral Law which is over and above the law of the land. As the Word says in Genesis, "The sun was just rising over the earth as Lot arrived in Zoar; at the same time the LORD rained down sulphurous fire upon Sodom and Gomorrah (from the LORD out of heaven). He overthrew those cities and the whole Plain, together with the inhabitants of the cities and the produce of the soil." Does this sound like God approves of the homosexual lifestyle? Yet that is what some in society will have you think. If one thinks that Jesus speaks differently from the Father then let us look at Luke, "Whatever town you enter and they do not receive you, go out into the streets and say, 'The dust of your town that clings to our feet, even that we shake off against you.' Yet know this: the kingdom of God is at hand. I tell you, it will be more tolerable for Sodom on that day than for that town." Our Lord does not say that what was done in Sodom was wrong, instead He warns that some could face the same fate for their obstinacy in sin! Once again if many continue to legalize same sex marriages, and homosexuality is seen as normal, we will incur the Wrath of God.

It is also up to society to help those who come from poor and impoverished circumstances, whether they be widows, orphans or the mentally unstable. When we refuse to aid the helpless we have then refused to feed and clothe Jesus who is the hidden face behind the disenfranchised of society. This aid for the poor should not be given from a haughty heart, but to be given with respect and love towards those less well off. When we neglect to feed the needy and choose instead to ignore the plight of the homeless and destitute, we will once again be called to account for our lack of compassion. This also includes those Governments who aid and abet evil despots in other countries by selling them arms in order for these evil leaders to bring their country to war and genocide. Evil can only prosper when the good lend a hand by ignoring the policies of their own Governmental Body. As the Catholic Catechism instructs us on good and evil, "1738 Freedom is exercised in relationships between human beings. Every human person, created in the image of God, has the natural right to be recognized as a free and responsible being. All owe to each other this duty of respect. The right to the exercise of freedom, especially in moral and religious matters, is an inalienable requirement of the dignity of the human person. This right must be recognized and protected by civil authority within the limits of the common good and public order....1740 Threats to freedom. The exercise of freedom does not imply a right to say or do everything. It is false to maintain that man, "the subject of this freedom," is "an individual who is fully self-sufficient and whose finality is the satisfaction of his own interests in the enjoyment of earthly goods."[33] Moreover, the economic, social, political, and cultural conditions that are needed for a just exercise of freedom are too often disregarded or violated. Such situations of blindness and injustice injure the moral life and involve the strong as well as the weak in the temptation to sin against charity. By deviating from the moral law man violates his own freedom, becomes imprisoned within himself, disrupts neighborly fellowship, and rebels against divine truth." No good can come from an evil deed, and there can be no common good when the poor are left to pay the price for the affluent.

As man is created in the image of God, man must not distort this image for his own nefarious purposes, neither for gain or profit. God created us from the depths of The Triune Spirit, and it is from this spark of Divine Love that man gains his dignity and is the adopted children of the Heavenly Father. God did not create man on assembly lines, therefore it is a responsibility to the Governing Bodies of each country, society in general, and employers in particular, to give a man his daily earnings with due respect to his dignity. Employers encourage their employee's to work hard in order for them to gain in profits and so everyone benefits. As the company prospers, so do the fortunes of both employer and employee. This image becomes distorted when the employer treats his workmen with scant regard and overworks his men for profit alone to benefit only himself. As Scripture instructs us, "You shall not oppress a hired servant who is poor and needy, whether he is one of your brethren or one of the sojourners who are in your land within your towns; you shall give him his hire on the day he earns it, before the sun goes down (for he is poor, and sets his heart upon it); lest he cry against you to the Lord, and it be a sin in you."

The Marxist theory of the collective man cannot be upheld, and so too the capitalists who use the same distorted theology, as both treat men as commodities to be used and discarded at whim without regard to his innate dignity nor to social justice.

In conclusion when we fail to feed and provide homes for the poor and defenseless, when we murder the unborn, promote active homosexual relationships and abuse a workman's rights, what does this say about our society? Also what does this say about you?

God is All Merciful and also perfect Divine Justice, the choices we make will gain for us what we deserve.
